Well the big melt is on after an exceptionally heavy, late winter of snow in Somiedo and the streams and rivers are roaring with fresh water. Although La Piñietsa, (our base for the Walkinginspirit retreat), is still clad in snow, the season is definitely turning towards spring and my thoughts are turning towards June 15th-21st and 21st-27th. It’s going to be a fantastic couple of weeks of “wild floral bliss” in Somiedo. We are fully booked and I’m really looking forward to meeting the walkers and sharing some wonderful experiences. My spirit really needs to be in the wild generous nature of Somiedo.
